01About Amaleboba Foundation

Uni-Jay Limited has become a tool for development in the communities and the nation. In this vein, it has set up a foundation called the “AMALEBOBA FOUNDATION”. The foundation has its flagship programme dubbed, Back to your basic school: the school which nurtured you.

This programme aims to prompt people to go on a retrospective journey to their basic schools and to give back and motivate the pupils especially, those in the Government basic schools.

To set the pace for this programme, Uni-Jay Limited has renovated a six classroom school block; an ICT laboratory centre; has donated dual classroom desks, uniforms and educational materials to the Ahinsan M/A school where the CEO had her basic education. The company has also provided over 500 hundred dual desks in addition to three (3) clusters of primary schools and Junior High School (JHS) at Kologo in the Kasena Nankana Municipality.

Foundation and events

Unijay also donated sewing machines and cooking stoves to home economics and visual art departments in girls senior high school, to encourage and motivate them to know how important it to gain skills in this 21st century. As the CEO of Unijay always quote “21st Century, skills is currency”.

The foundation has at heart the desire to support Kayayei because of the CEO’S struggle as one of them in her early ages. Due to this she organized sponsored trainings for kayayei girls and employed some of them. From time to times she makes donations to support them with their needs and encourages them gain some handy skills to be able to cater for their needs.
